Title: Introducing The Beatles - LP Record on Vee Jay - VJ LP 1062
Description: There are a lot of different versions of this album. If you have any specific questions please email me. Catalog Number LP 1062. The cover says Stereo. Tracks are listed on the back in two columns. This version includes “Ask Me Why” and “Please Please Me”. The Vee Jay Records label is bracketed on the back and in a circle on the front.
The record has the rainbow label with the bracketed Vee Jay logo on top. The title and band name are above the spindle hole. The label has “Microgroove” on the right, “Long Playing” as two separate words on the left. It doesn’t say stereo, so this may be a mono record although the cover specifically states stereo.
Dead Wax Etching on side one says 63-3402, ARC 3-25-4. Side two has 63-3403, URJ, ARC 3-25-4.
Condition: The record has seen a fair amount of use. There are marks and scratches from use over the years. No major damage or deep scratches, but a lot of surface marks. The seller I bought this from had it marked as G. I’m not an expert in rating albums, but I would probably concur with this. The label has a small pen mark over “The Beatles” on side two, and a bit of ring wear but otherwise looks really nice.
The jacket has been kept in plastic, although not the original shrink. It is in great condition. Very minimal fading, no damage or wear, and solid throughout. There’s a sticker on the back plastic put there by the original seller. It says the catalog value is 250. The record comes with a white dust jacket insert as well.
Please email me with any questions before bidding.
I'm selling the Beatles "Abbey Road" album, a rare 7" "Twist and Shout" 45 on Tollie Records, the 7" single of "Let It Be" and around a hundred other records this week. Combined shipping on any records.
