Instant Composers Pool - Groupcomposing - ICP 006 LP

Bennink, Bailey, Brötzmann, Parker etc - Hand Coloured

1970 album of glorious noise - Peter Bennink adds bagpipes to the chaos, it's great.

The vinyl is EX, there's the odd crackle or pop here and there but nothing of consequence.

The hand coloured sleeve is a bit tatty but I'm told they always looked like that because they got wet when they were painted and the paper shrank unevenly. Apparently only the first hundred or so were hand coloured and they were done by the artists themselves.


Like many of the records I'm selling today this came from the large collection of a busy man now aged 61. Due to the size of his collection many of the LPs were only played once or twice from new - some were never played and they were all properly looked after. His musical taste was towards the avant garde/free end of the jazz spectrum as well as being a fan of prog, psych and experimental music. I will be selling selected records from his collection over the next few years so please add me to your favourites list!
