Description
You are bidding on the rare LP:
I'm Old But I'm Awfully Tough- Traditional Music of the Ozark Region (Double LP), recorded and released by the Missouri Friends of the Folk Arts (MFFA 1001) (30885/6). Includes the deluxe 24-page booklet of liner notes.
*This highly unique collection of old-time, Ozark field recordings represent real-deal American musical folk art! All of these musicians are older in age and play a variety of very old-time musical styles, from beautiful unaccompanied ballad singing to rough old-time breakdowns. The name of this record comes from an old minstrel tune, which is given a unique performance here. The musicians featured here are Lee Finis Cameron "Tip" McKinney (who was the lead singer of the 1920's group Pope's Arkansas Mountaineers!), Emmanuel Woods & family, Green Berry Horton, Troy Lee, Rex & Ray Offut, Jake Hockemeyer & Russ Orchard, Lawrence Baker, Vesta Johnson & Don Womack, Frank Reed & Alva Lee Henren, Rose Pratt, and Charlie Pashia & Joe Politte. The liner notes are extensive, featuring artist biographies, photos, Ozark musical history, lyrical transcriptions and more!*
The LPs are visually graded in VG condition. When looked at under a very bright light, the vinyl shows a rich luster and a fair amount of very light surface marks. These records will play with a very full sound, but a very minimal amount of surface noise will occasionally be heard.
The Cover is graded in VG+ condition, just showing some very minor edge wear.
Shipping is calculated by ebay at the actual cost for you, the consumer. I don't charge any extra fees for material or handling.
For combined shipping, please add $1 for each additional LP you purchase. If you buy many records from me, I can ship them all together in one box, and charge you the actual cost I pay at the post office. International customers, please keep in mind that once you reach 4 pounds (roughly 4 LPs+), 1st Class International is no longer a shipping option, and you must ship Priority or Express.
Insurance is your option as a buyer. International customers, please keep in mind that you can only insure your item if you ship Express, which can be very expensive. Please contact me if you would prefer this option.
