Description
Ike Quebec: "Heavy Soul"
A Blue Note original pressing: deadwax w/ ear device and "RVG STEREO"; "New York USA" to labels, "43 West 61st St." to foot of sleeve verso and to inner sleeve. 8 stereo cuts by Ike w/ Freddie Roach, Milt Hinton, and Al Harewood. The grading is VG+/NM, with specs as follow: the sleeve is NM: bright, clean, and undamaged with light wear to the lower right corner and a touch of soiling to the verso. Inner sleeve original and in great shape. Labels bright - unsoiled, undmaged. Record has patches of needle-mark and a small hairline or two. Plays is very, very strong with a little static underneath it all, creeping out during the quieter passages and fades. An excellent copy.
