Igor Stravinsky: The Recorded Legacy is CBS Masterworks' massive box of 31 LPs, released in 1981to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Stravinsky's birth year 1882. The vastmajority of Stravinsky's recordings were made for CBS Masterworks starting in1957 -- when he was 75 years old -- and extending to 1967, when he made hislast public appearances.


1981 CBS Masterworks Printed inHolland. Comes complete in slipcase as pictured.  Also includes a beautiful picture/story book(softcover) and breakdowns/glossary terms on heavy card stock. Records are allNM/ Mint (probably unplayed) condition. Invidual sleeves are in VG condition.  Outer case also in Good shape. To give you anidea of the rarity of this item the price on this in the 1980's was $350.00(not sure of print run, but you can assume it low based on that startingprice).
