North Alabama singer-songwriter Jason Isbell returns to the spotlight with the 10th Anniversary Edition of Something More Than Free, revisiting the album that solidified his post-Drive-By Truckers solo career. First released in 2015, the album explores the nuances of love, work, and the tension between past and present through tracks including '24 Frames,' 'Flagship,' and 'Children Of Children.' For this edition, legendary engineer Sylvia Massy (Prince, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty) has remixed the album, refining the textures of Isbell's electric, acoustic, and slide guitar work. The release also adds a previously unreleased b-side, 'Should I Go Missing,' a blues-inflected number with shimmering slide and percussive flourishes.
