Description

100% genuine EMI UK factory pressed SOLID CENTRE 7" CLEAR VINYL with plain white labels on both sides of the disc. This item was used as a test pressing to determine the quality and colour of the vinyl.  I personally obtained this item from BATTERY STUDIOS in Willesdon Green, London in 1987. The matrix numbers are machine stamped (EMI 5145 A-2U and EMI 5145 B-1U).   The vinyl is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. The picture cover is an original UK issue that I added at a later date for identification purposes only and is supplied with this item free of charge. I would like to add that I do not remember ever seeing a solid centre copy of this record as a clear vinyl stock issue. Both the red and clear vinyl usually have 4-prong push-out centres.  I've had black vinyl copies with solid centres in the past but not clear or red copies. I'm not saying they don't exist, just that I can't recall ever seeing one.
