Further to my recent Iron Maiden listings I am pleased to offer a very rare UK Original Vinyl Test Pressing of the 1981 album Killers. This is the only copy I have ever seen so would imagine that it is very rare indeed. The UK original vinyl editions of this release are becoming harder to find let alone a Test Pressing and particularly with this copy being in such good condition.
This second and last record from the Paul Di'anno era needs no introduction and is the real deal. The black vinyl is in very good condition with just slight surface scratches. The inner spindle is in good clean condition which would indicate this has been lightly played if at all. I purchased this from a Collector about 30 years ago and I have only played the first few seconds of each side today for the purposes of this listing to verify that the vinyl is Killers. The vinyl has been supplied in an original UK retail sleeve which is in very good condition as can be seen in the photos. There are a couple of creases on the top back edge as shown in the last photo but considering that this is a Test Pressing which is 40 years old the overall condition of the outer and inner sleeves is exceptional.
As I have only played a few seconds of each side I am unable to confirm whether there are any crackles etc. But looking at the vinyl there is nothing obvious. I have never seen another copy of this Test Pressing on the market so this is a great opportunity to own a very collectible piece of Iron Maiden history.
