Description
Original UK pressing from 1984. This is the 12" 45 RPM Maxi Single.
The thick cardboard sleeve is in fantastic condition. All three sides are solid and intact. And they have practically no wear on them at all. It lies completely flat and has but a few small creases in it. The vinyl has left its impression in some areas of the cover but that doesn't take anything away from it. The colors are crisp and the edges and corners are solid and sharp!
The vinyl is in near mint condition. It looks to have been played but a couple times. There are no scratches or marks that I can see. Take a look at the spindle hole on both sides. You can see a trail the spindle left on both sides of the label but that's it. The hole itself looks nearly untouched. It was probably played once or twice, at most. Take a look at a few other versions of this up for sale on eBay, you'll see the difference in theirs and mine.
I purchased this (along with many other albums I'll be listing) from the original purchaser. This was a man who enjoyed his music but also took very good care of his vinyl. And he did not buy his music second hand. No, he bought only original pressings from, sadly, now defunct music stores. He knew what he wanted and he collected it. And he kept everything in original condition.
I've had these for well over 20 years. I purchased much of his collection. Unfortunately, I no longer have the ability to play vinyl. Those days are long behind me. So my description of the vinyls condition is from a visual inspection only. For that, I am sorry. But I do use both the bright, unfiltered sunlight and a very bright lamp for my inspections. And I've been buying and enjoying vinyl since the mid-80's, so I've seen more than my share. And I feel confident in my accuracy. But, if by some chance, I am way off and you are not pleased with the quality of the album, please reach out and let me know. We will discuss it and I'll do all I can to make you satisfied.
Will be shipped in a solid box mailer, made specifically for LP's. And the vinyl will be placed in a new anti-static liner, outside of the original cover. And all will be protected in a new outer protective sleeve. All original. All kept together!
