Description
Extremely rare 12" vinyl LP from the early 1960s
“There is no such thing as a good trip!!”
INSTANT INSANITY DRUGS by W. Cleon Skousen
from Key Records
Extremely rare 12" LP from the 1960s, featuring extreme anti-LSD propaganda
From the back cover: “Skousen brilliantly unmasks the Timothy Learys among us, the Pied Pipers who tell our youngsters they can turn on, tune in and drop out by means of potent weeds and seeds and chemical compounds. He tells us why there is no such thing as a good trip."
Comments: Aggressive 1950s-style spoken word LP, seemingly for educational purposes. Former FBI agent W Cleon Skousen - author of "The Naked Communist" - spells out a harsh message to concerned PTA members everywhere and "brilliantly demasks the Timothy Learys among us". The Key label was apparently a tentacle of the John Birch Society, a delusional right-wing outfit serenaded by Bob Dylan in the "Talking John Birch Society Blues".
CONDITION: Sleeve is made of stiff card, and in good condition. Small bend to the top right corner. The vinyl is in good condition.
