E+ (Excellent Plus) The record has hardly visible small scratches etc. The label may have some * In effect E+ means almost faultless. We think you can find records graded E+ quite satisfactory, unless you are a collector who is determined to own a brand new record. EX (Excellent) There are some light scratches and cracks on the record (which can be felt by touch). Sometimes these slight defects may influence sound. *Although some noise is audible in quieter sections of the record, such as fade-outs, and it is especially conspicuous between tracks, it does not have a profound influence on the whole record.
