Under the influence of their U.S. trip, Atlantis recorded the rockier LP ‘Get On Board’. It seemed like the band were on the verge of a breakthrough. Sadly, both their highly professional album and subsequent tour failed to achieve commercial success. Consequently, Inga Rumpf and Karl-Heinz Schott announced their departure in January 1976. After the split, the album ‘Top Of The Bill’, containing previously unreleased studio recordings from December 1975 to March 1976, was released. The ex-members of Atlantis became top studio session musicians and Inga Rumpf launched her solo career. Atlantis was once again submerged in the ocean of blues, but it remains a legendary name in the annals of rock!
The record is in EX condition and the cover is VG.
Grading:
Grading is VISUAL; occasional play-grading will be noted. M : Mint. Only when the record is sealed.NM : Near Mint.
Record = is as good as new and clear. May have some minor paper scuffs or tiny hairlines.
Cover = as new with maybe the slightest signs of wear on corners, edges, spine or surface.
EX : Excellent.
Record = Still very clear with a few hairlines and some small scuffs.
Cover = there is a bit wear on corners, edges and surface.
VG+ : Very Good+.
Record = clear but you can see some hairlines and/or some small scuffs across the surface.
Cover = is still looking good but there is some wear, on corners & edges,slight creasing. There is a bit ring-wear and a small green tag on the front-side. without any major defects, is acceptable.
VG : Very Good.
Record = There are lines, scuffs and/or swipes across the surface.
Cover = there is real wear on corners, edges and spine. There are splits in the seams, serious ring-wear or surface-wear, small mark from a price sticker.
G : Good.
Record = when I put a record on Ebay with this grade then it well be a very rare one. In that case I will describe the imperfections on this record in detail.
Cover = this cover has been mended to keep it from falling apart. Look at the photo to have a better idea of the condition.
