Mr. Bongo 2016. edel aufgemachtes Vinyl-Limited Edition 5x7'' Boxset, noch neu und original verschweißt. Bild 1-3 Originalbilder,. released for Record Store Day 2016.Funk/Soul. The Incredible Bongo Band wurde 1972 vom MGM-Manager Michael Viner für einen Film erfunden und landete mit ihren funky Instrumentals einige Hits, die später oft gesampelt wurden. Ihr Cover des Shadows-Hits "Apache" findet sich auf Songs von u. a. Missy Elliot, Coldcut, Will Smith, Goldie, Jurassic 5, Moby, Run DMC, Sugarhill Gang, Beastie Boys und Massive Attack. "Bongo Rock" enthält die beiden einzigen Alben der "Band": "Bongo Rock" (1973) und "The Return Of The Incredible Bongo Band" (1974). - Zum diesjährigen Record Store Day erschien für alle Funk, Soul, Breaks und Surf- Freunde ein edles und limitiertes 5x7'' Boxset der Incredible Bongo Band. Die fünf auf 45/U laufenden Singles bieten für den Hörer so manche Überraschung, u.a. den "Bongo Rock" und eine Version von Iron Butterflys "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida".
