I’M LEFT, YOU’RE RIGHT, SHE’S GONE – ELVIS PRESLEY (HMV, MINT)
I’m Left, You’re Right, She’s Gone/How Do You Think I Feel (HMV 45-POP 28) was the last Elvis single issued by EMI’s HMV label in December 1957. It charted on 17th January 1958 reaching 21 in the UK Singles Chart.
This particular item is highly rare, being in virtual mint condition. It was apparently part of the stock of a London record shop which closed in the early 1960s and what little unsold stock was left was boxed and forgotten about for the best part of 50 years. It is not in an HMV sleeve but a white card protective sleeve. We cannot say it is un-played as we played it once just to be sure it was perfect; it is therefore accurate to say it’s in ‘virtual mint’ condition.
