Illini Connection – Take the Funk to the Kitchen / Your Mother Understood – Silver Dollar Records – 1977 – Deep Funk 45 – Rare
Ultra rare release from the Illinois deep funk group Illini Connection who were featured on a Keb Darge compilation in recent times, if my memory serves me right. This was a later release from ’77 with one killer funk tune on “Take the Funk to the Kitchen” and a nice soul flip. Dead rare. This is a store stock copy from a recent warehouse find.
Vinyl: VG++ / Label: NM
Records are graded following the standard format Vinyl/Label and on the following scale: NM/NM-/VG++/VG+/VG/VG-/G+/etc. I do not use E or E- grading. I grade carefully and rarely give a NM grading.
