Ila -- Ila LP
Original 1973 US stereo custom pressing on Audicom Corporation (Denver CO) (catalog # 6081).Scarce private/custom moutain dulcimer amateur folk LP from the wondrous "Ila." Solo dulcimer with an over-the-top kitschy voice that has to be heard to be believed. Includes a hand-written note from Ila, signed and dated 12-17-73. Her last name is spelled both "Andersen" and "Anderson" on the back cover.
Features traditional folk tunes plus some songs you would not expect to find on a record like this: "House Of The Rising Sun", "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face", and an absurd Ila original about bra-burning called "Women's Liberation".

Ila is self-taught and has improved the dulcimer's versatility by perfecting her own chording system. At the same time she has created a definite style of performing.
CONDITION: Cover MINT- / Vinyl VG+++ close to new, still in shrinkwrap, vinyl is excellent. Graded conservatively using Goldmine standards [G / G+ / VG / VG+ / NM / ]grade only used if record is brand new.
