This is the 5th album by the great British Jazz-Rock / Prog band If, which sadly didn't manage to attract the proper attention in spite of their superb achievements. After recording four great albums the original lineup of the group gave up in 1972, soon to be replaced by the second lineup, led by saxophonist / flautist Dick Morrissey. They managed to record 3 more albums before the disbanding for good. This album was originally released only in Germany (no UK release) on the legendary Brain label and the other two were released in UK on the excellent Gull label. The music is a continuation of their previous direction, mixing elements of Rock and Jazz, melodic tunes and instrumental improvisations. In retrospect this sounds pretty good four decade later and no If fan will want to miss this.
