Description

Humungously rare 12" acetate for "Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick" by Ian Dury and the Blockheads. Issued by Sterling Sound, Inc (of 1790 Broadway, New York) on behalf of Epic Records, the band's label in the States.

Housed in white sleeve with Sterling Sounds company logo. Typed thereon is "Ian Dury / Epic Records / "May 15, 1979".

Inners also give date, titles and times ("Hit Me" - 3.40 and "Clever Bastard" - 3.01).
Vinyl acetate is in VG condition; some signs of play, but has survived very well.

An astonishingly rare item - may well be a one-off - and a must for Ian Dury collectors.
