Sleeve Notes:

                         "I wrote Solar Plexus last year with the help of an Arts Council grant.  It is based on two short themes which are stated at the beginning (Elements 1 & 2).  The first theme is angular and has a slow crab like movement:  The second theme is direct, simple and diatonic.  CHANGING TIMES and SPIRIT LEVEL explore the first theme, and BEDROCK DEADLOCK and TORSO explore the second one. SNAKEHIPS' DREAM tries to fuse both themes.  (The title is a reference to the famous dancer 'Snakehips' Johnson)."   

Condition:

Sleeve:  Unlaminated gatefold sleeve designed by B.E. Ltd is in a generally excellent condition which within my opinion has absolute minimal shelf wear.  The colours are still rich and strong and retain their first day look.  The opening and spine are sharp and still nice and crisp with no feathering whatsoever.  There is no writing, but very slight sticker damage to top right corner of front - see photo.  Inner to gatefold in immaculate condition, truly outstanding.   This album also comes with the original SPIRAL VERTIGO company inner sleeve that is also in excellent condition, slight creasing no seam splits.

Labels:  Original SPIRAL VERTIGO matt labels are in excellent condition and carry their original strong, rich bright white and black colouring.  Totally clear, crisp printing with no sticker damage of any kind.  Both labels have absolute minimal spindle marks.

Vinyl:  The vinyl itself looks in very good condition, with a few surface marks, probably due to scuffing of the inner sleeve.  There are a marks on track four side one that will be audible on your deck - please bear this in mind when bidding.  I have played the other tracks of this album on my deck, THORENS TD 160B MK2 and I was very impressed with the overall quality of playback, no jumps or sticking only light surface noise on some of the quieter passages.

Comments:  This is a fantastic rare opportunity to bid on an ORIGINAL SPIRAL VERTIGO BRITISH first pressing of - Ian Carr With Nucleus - Solar Plexus.

Packing Procedures.  The vinyl will be packed in a purpose made strong corrugated cardboard crucifix box.  To avoid any unnecessary seam splits to the outer sleeve, the vinyl is taken out and sandwiched in its inner sleeve between oversized corrugated cardboard.  In some cases, I may add extra protection.  I aim to dispatch the same day as payment is received.
