Description

In the 1960s, the Chess Bros. decided to try and update the sound of some of their classic blues artists. They did one with Muddy Waters and possibly one with Bo Diddley. This is Wolf's stab at the newer modern sound. I don't doubt the fact that he did not like it, however it contains many of his most well known songs like Spoonful, Tail Dragger, Smokstack Lightning, Red Rooster and Back Door Man. I think it sounds pretty good. Wolfs vocals are up front,and it's hard to make him sound bad. LP plays VG+ with no serious defects. Cover has ring wear with no splits. LP is on Cadet Concept #LPS-319.
