***PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING***
Here we have a VERY RARE black and silver label original pressing of Howlin' Wolf's self-titled album on Chess records, also know as "The Rocking Chair album".It is being listed as a ***AS-IS****FILLER COPY*** for the following :
The LP:         Overall the actual vinyl I would normally rate as Good condition (As with the Goldmine record grading system: http://www.goldminemag.com/collector-resources/record-grading-101), However there is a HAIR-LINE crack in the LP ( I did my best to picture) which measures just about 1 1/2 inches. Which is the main reason it is being listed as a FAIR/POOR  condition filler copy. It stretches through the first two tracks and into the third. I've played the album on multiple turntables and it DOES play through. There is SURFACE NOISE throughout the entire album, which to me is definitely not the worst I've heard and actually plays through fairly cleanly.
***Notable flaws*** Side 1: Track 1. (Shake for me) Jumps a tiny bit mid song but does not seem to skip. Also a pop throughout the track. Track 2. ( The Red Rooster) Pop throughout   Track 3. ( You'll be mine) I could pick up a minimal pop in the beginning not as noticeable as previous tracks Track 6. ( Little baby) It jumps a lil bit mid song but again does not seem to skip
Side 2: Track 1. ( Spoonful) Pop throughout Track 2. ( Going down slow) Slightly louder pop throughout Track 3. (Down to the bottom) Slight pop in beginning
The Jacket:          Overall the jacket is by goldmine standards I would consider Very Good condition. There is no taped edges, no split seams, no writing and no water damage. There are however obvious flaws with the jacket though. Pictured you can see that the top left corner of the backing paper has been ripped. Also about 1/4 of the back of the jacket, on the bottom has a stain which is also pictured. The inside of the jacket is clean.
