Description

Howlin' Wolf LP Chess 1469 (see photos). I don't grade covers, just describe them the best I can. Real nice front cover with just a very little ring wear near the bottom. Also a 6" hairline scratch near and along the left side. The rear cover shows no wear, but does have some "yellowing" or "dulling" particularly around the edges. No seam splits. The top seam shows moderate wear. The side seam has no wear. The writing is crisp and clear. The bottom seam shows minor to moderate wear. The labels are M-. The vinyl is VG+ with a high gloss and very minimal wear. However, there is a mark (see photo) near the end of the "Down in the Bottom" track that causes a few skips. This mark MAY be removable or it COULD be permanent. I just don't know. The rest of the record played very nicely with a few pops and clicks here and there particularly between the tracks. But overall a very enjoyable listen. The jacket comes in a plastic sleeve.
