Up for your Consideration is this 1960 Used 33-1/3 LP Jazz Album by “Horace Silver Quintet” titled “Horace Scope” Featuring " Blue Mitchell,  Junior Cook, Gene Taylor, Roy Brooks " …Originally released in 1960 on Blue Note Records Inc…with a product number of BLP4042… Mono Pressing LP Vinyl: in EX++ Condition the vinyl looks good has lots of luster and shine…Under spot light shows only a couple of surface marks don’t see any scratches, when listening exhibits no major or minor loss of sound quality...Paper Sleeve:  Blue Note Sleeve with 25yrs...Labels: both Side VG++ Condition, blue and white, with "Blue Note Records Inc • 47 West 63rd •NYC” Deep Groove (an indent in the label about 1/2-inch from the edge of the label, which on SOME labels is associated with very early or first pressings)…Run Off or Dead Wax: "RVG" and the Ear Mark are inscribed on both sides … Album Cover: is in EX- Condition…but has issues, 3 Corners are a little ding, …along the opening it is a little soiled, the seems are all good except there is a 5” split in the upper left hand seam, that has been nicely taped …on the back it is a little dirty from shelf ware…back reads Blue Note Records Inc., 43 West 61st St., New York 23, N.Y.… overall what I see is a Used 33RPM Album in EX++ Condition … I have listed a rating chart below... I inspect everything under bright spot light and state what I see, plus I have the album played for sound quality... Please look at all of the pictures since they are a part of the description also... Bit of History

Horace Silver forever holds the title of lead soul-jazz composer and keyboard man. Horace-Scope is an album released on the Blue Note label in 1960 featuring performances by Silver with Blue Mitchell, Junior Cook, Gene Taylor, and Roy Brooks. The Allmusic review by Steve Huey awarded the album 5 stars and states "Horace-Scope continues the tight, sophisticated-yet-swinging blueprint for hard bop pioneered on its two classic predecessors... every selection is full of soulful grooves and well-honed group interplay, the qualities that made this band perhaps the top hard bop outfit of the early '60s. Silver was in the midst of a hot streak that wouldn't let up for another few years, and Horace-Scope is another eminently satisfying effort from that period."
