Description

This is a hybrid RVG-etched deep-groove “P”-pressing of Horace Silver “And The Jazz Messengers” on the Lexington Avenue (Side 1) and West 63rd St. (Side 2) labels of Blue Note BLP 1518. The beaded-rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The cover has the “Lexington Ave.” address and is in superb condition – clean and bright throughout – with sharp corners; slight rubbing on the bottom seam; light foxing on the upper portion of the back slick. Personnel include Kenny Dorham, Hank Mobley, Doug Watkins, and Art Blakey.
