Mega Rare LP of Horace Silver - Horace-Scope (Blue Note 84042 - stereo) Original blue and White label edition with 63rd St.address, Deep Groove rings, ear and Van Gelder stamp on both sides - NOT a current re-issue! Classic early '60s session for Silver also features Blue Mitchell, Junior Cook, Gene Taylor and Roy Brooks in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG/VG+ condition with marks that will make noise and with much (or most) of the original shine. . Played through on my set - better than expected, but with surface noise - not for the audiophile or the flipper. The cover is in VG condition with general age/shelf wear, writing on the back (also initials written on the side one label) and clear tape on all seams.. Definitely NOT perfect, but how many originals of these do you see anymore?
