This is an auction of an original vintage SUPER RARE Jazz LP Horace Silver Quintet - Horace-Scope - BLUE NOTE BLP-4042 mono with "47 West 63rd NYC" address labels with DG deep groove. Engineered by Rudy Van Gelder - "RVG" and an "ear" stamped in the trailoff of both sides - RARE SUPER AUDIOPHILE A-1/B-1 STAMPERS. Absolutely UNBELIEVABLY GREAT SOUND. Van Gelder and Horace Silver at their best.
This record is part of an incredible consigned JAZZ and ROCK LP collection with HUNDREDS of super rare LPs - all in close to "like new" condition. This is a NO reserve price auction! Please see the ENLARGED HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTOS.
Record is visually graded Mint- to VG++ with just a few very light marks and a black marker dot on the side 2 label but PLAYS MINT- with STUPENDOUS SOUND, cover is VG++ with just slight wear at bottom right corner tip and a tiny nick at the lowe right side edge.
