Description

This is the original mono “P”-pressing of Horace Parlan “Up and Down” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4082.  The playing surface is in excellent condition, with just one inaudible scuff on Side 1 and two light inaudible scuffs on Side 2; plays beautifully throughout. The coated New York 23 cover is bright and clean, with light age toning on the left edge of the back slick; printing defect on the “U” on the front; 1/8” wear at the top of the opening; light rubbing along the bottom seam.  Blue Note inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Book Ervin, Grant Green, George Tucker, and Al Harewood.  $400.00.
