Description

Horace Andy – Skylarking

Studio One SOL 1116 – Jamaican pressing – 12‑track LP.

Vinyl is visually graded G+. Surfaces show noticeable scuffs and marks, with consistent background noise and occasional pops expected, but no obvious warps or cracks seen in the photos. Labels are the original cream “1 Studio” design with “Recorded by Jamaica Recording Studio, 13 Brentford Rd.” text; center holes show some wear. Both sides have visible spindle marks from regular play. Record will be shipped in a protective inner sleeve and sturdy mailer.

Original Studio One jacket is included and graded G/G+. Front cover has general ring wear, edge and corner wear, and small creases; colors are still presentable. Back cover shows age toning, ring wear, corner wear, and small edge splits or fraying at the opening. No major writing or stickers visible on front or back based on the photos. Spine text appears partially readable with some wear.

Classic roots reggae album featuring “Skylarking,” “Where Do the Children Play,” “Every Tongue Shall Tell,” “Something’s on My Mind,” “See a Man’s Face,” “Don’t Cry,” “I’ll Be Gone,” and more Studio One tracks. Essential early‑70s Horace Andy / Coxsone Dodd production for collectors of reggae, dub, and Jamaican vinyl. Great chance to own an authentic Jamaican Studio One LP for listening or as a filling copy.
