Original 1984 UK release on Hope Springs Records (UK) (catalog # HOPE 1).Scarce compilation record put out in 1984 to save the Hope & Anchor pub in London from closure. Features previously un-issued and mostly otherwise unavailable tracks by The Pogues, Robyn Hitchcock, The Screaming Blue Messiahs, The Men They Couldn't Hang plus lots of London psychobilly/punk bands like Thee Milkshakes, The Sting-Rays, The Prisoners, The Dead Beats, etc.

All records are packaged securely, protected by both stiff and cushion packaging, with vinyl (in original innersleeve) removed from cover and placed safely in poly sleeve to help prevent seam splitting during transit.
