For Auction A Very Rare ORIGINAL UK Parlophone 2 Single Sided TEST pressings for the UK Release ''For Certain Because'' LP.
Please refer to the images for the correct EMI Matrix Numbers (both stamped in the run out and hand written on the label).
The general release date for this Album was the 9th November 1966 and as you can see by the label scans my test pressing is stamped the 7th November 1966 (possibly that was to be the original date of release?)
The condition is as follows.
Visual grade is Very Good
PLAY GRADED Each and every track PLAYS PERFECT Very loud and very clear with just the slightest of background between tracks and a bit of noticeable noise on the run in.
ABSOLUTELY NO JUMPS CLICKS OR POPS
The LP' is housed in a plain white card sleeve
For Certain Because is the fifth U.K. album by The Hollies and their second released in 1966.[This was the first Hollies album in which all the songs were written by members Allan Clarke, Graham Nash, and Tony Hicks. This was also the first Hollies album recorded with new bassist Bernie Calvert.
Retitled Stop! Stop! Stop! for the U.S. and Canadian markets and issued with a different, full-color cover image of the group in the U.S. market, this was also the fifth Hollies album released in the U.S. and Canada, although the third released in 1966. It was the first Hollies album on which the track listing for all of the U.S., the Canadian, and the U.K. versions remained the same; that would not happen again until the 1970s. In addition, other markets used the title Stop! Stop! Stop! when issuing or reissuing this album,
