Description

This is a true Record Album from the 1942 movie “Holiday Inn.”  This album contains 6 78RPM records.  The records seem to be in fairly good condition.  However, I have not played them as I do not have a turntable that will play a 78RPM record. The titles are:

The film received a 1943 Academy Award for Best OriginalSong (Irving Berlin for "White Christmas"), as well as Academy Award nominations for Best Score (Robert Emmett Dolan) and Best Original Story (Irving Berlin).

 

The bindings on the front and back covers have deteriorated and are no longer attached.  The bindings will need to be repaired.  This album is in the condition you would expect from a 1942 product.

 

 

Holiday Inn is a 1942 American musical film starring Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire, with MarjorieReynolds, Virginia Dale, and Walter Abel.  In this IrvingBerlin musical, Jim (Bing Crosby)and Lila are members of a performing trio who plan to quit and run a countryhotel. When Lila says she has fallen in love with thedancer in the act, Ted (Fred Astaire), Jim leaves town with a broken heart.
