The British rear design is completely different from that of the US release with just one photo of Bob, The liner notes contain many minor differences from the American notes - For example, the characters "Savage Rose & Fixable" are here called "Savage Rose & Openly".
The titles & discography are also unboxed. The label is of the 'rough' CBS variety, with centre boxed logo, '33' instead of '33 1/3' near the bottom left corner of the logo & 'Blossom Music Ltd' Credit to the centre right.
The inner is the plain poly lined of the time with 'British & Other Patents Pending' text at bottom right & 'Made In England' at bottom left.
Condition :-
The sleeve is in beautiful condition with no smoke yellowing on the non-laminated back.
The sleeve is front laminated with rounded edged flipbacks.
The spine is still clearly readable & the front also shows no evidence of fading or age yellowing. There is minimal evidence of general shelfwear & no edge scuffing at all to speak of.
This copy has obviously been stored very well indeed.
The vinyl itself matches the sleeve. It is beautiful with just a couple of light spindle marks around the label centre to indicate play.
Upon close inspection, there are no obvious hairline marks. The vinyl is, to all intents and purposes, near mint.
A wonderful copy of this forty five year old album with no need to ever upgrade.
The Stamped Matrix is BPG 62572 A//1 BPG62572 B//1
Upon even closer inspection, there are 3 sctatched on the lp, not major but not bad for a 40 + year old album therefor please disregard the "Upon close inspection, there are no obvious hairline marks. The vinyl is, to all intents and purposes, near mint." my error when listing
