Description

Highlife – Authentic African Highlife Music

Label: [please confirm UK label, likely Decca / HMV / Lyrichord / similar]

Country: UK

Year: 1956

Format: 10” LP, Mono

Condition:

• Cover: G+ (notable wear and age, some edge/spine damage but still intact)

• Record: VG+ (clean surface, a few light hairlines, none affecting playback)

• Playback: Plays great throughout, strong audio for age.

Notes:

Original 1956 UK 10” pressing of Authentic African Highlife Music. A rare early highlife release, showcasing the vibrant rhythms and melodies that shaped modern West African music. Highly collectible, especially in this playable VG+ condition despite the worn sleeve.
