Description
Here we have an unusual copy of The Honeycombs' Here Are The Honeycombs album from 1964. This was the band's debut album and featured their biggest hit. This particular copy is the rare 2nd issue pressed on the black color band Vee Jay labels. It's rumored that once Interphon Records folded, Vee Jay began selling their own copies to try and cash in on the song's success. Despite the cover having Interphon's logo, this IS the correct cover for the record.
The record is in strong VG condition, with some surface scratches and scuffs. The record plays with moderate surface noise and has some pops. There seems to be a residue of some sort on the dead wax. The cover is in VG condition, with some ring wear, edge wear, and writing on both sides. There is some tape residue on the back cover. Please see all the pictures to determine the condition.
