Description
The recorded has New York USA on both labels; 43 West 61st St. address on the bottom of the back cover. Mono. The record has "RVG", no "ear", inscribed in the dead wax. 10 tracks. Leader, Nichols, piano; Teddy Kotick, bass ( on 4 tracks ) , Al McKibbon, bass ( on 6 tracks); Max Roach, drums.
Cover: VG++ Intact and clean. Slight corner wear on the top and bottom of the insert edge. Very light overall aging.
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) The record shows no wear, however, there are a tiny mark on Tracks 2 & 4 on Side 1. This results in a few light crackles at the beginning and end of Track 2, Side 1. Side 2 has 2 tiny marks, barely visible. There are a few light clicks on Track 2. The noise is light and infrequent. There are 2 light clicks on Track 4 and minor grove noise on track 5 for a few revolutions. Except for this limited noise, the record plays with noise. The tiny marks described do not relate to the marks mentioned above. The slight noise seems to be in the pressing. Fine overall quality. Audibly checked.
