Description
This is Blue Note Records BLP 4126, Herbie Hancock My Point Of View, a blue and white, microgroove, New York USA label mono original of this wonderful record with Van Gelder and the Ear (P) stamped in the dead wax. The record is in near mint condition, showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The cover is completely ruined with water damage on the bottom 1/4. Clear tape was used to secure the cardboard. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. If you can get past the cover problem, or if you have an original cover in better condition, this is an excellent, collector's grade copy of this classic original mono Blue Note with all the proper markings in place.
