Description
Both labels have New York USA address; 43 West 61st address at the bottom of the back cover. The record has the "ear" and "van gelder" inscribed in the dead wax on both sides. 5 tracks with leader, Hancock, piano; Donald Byrd, trumpet; Grachan Moncur111, trombone; Hank Mobley, tenor sax; Grant Green, guitar; Chuck Israels, bass; Tony Williams, drums.
Cover: VG Intact with scuff mark on the top edge at the spine. The scuff reveals the underlying cardboard for about 1". Remarks written with 1 or 2 words next to 4 tunes on the tune schedule on the back cover. Light, uneven, aging on the back cover with crease at the very bottom corner of the back cover near the spine. This is minor.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. 1 or2 light brush-like surface rub marks, barely visible. No surface noise. Plays like new with fine sound. I have included the (-) to the record had been previously played, however, the record sound and surface quality is like new. Audibly checked.
