Buyer pays actual USPS shipping costs (no handling or materials fees). If you do not live in the United States: Please read my sales terms and payment policies following this listing before you bid.
Click the following link for information on how I grade records. Most LPs and 45s are shipped, with padding, in Bags Unlimited record mailers. 78s require extra packing materials and may cost somewhat more to ship.
Sales Terms Shipping Options: All packages are shipped via the United States Postal Service. When feasible, I offer a choice of priority or economy (which usually is media rate or first class). Bound printed material containing advertising cannot be shipped media rate. I can't accommodate local pick-ups unless I specifically offer the option in the listing. If you live close to me, please be prepared to complete the transaction through the mail. Publications Containing Advertising: Magazines, yearbooks, travel guides, directories, catalogs, and other bound printed material containing advertising cannot be shipped media rate and must be shipped priority or parcel post. See the USPS regulations and eBay's Shipping Services page. The USPS regulation is very clear and specific about this and does not make exceptions. Please don't e-mail me telling me that old magazines are exempt because the ads are outdated or yearbooks are exempt because they're not commercial enterprises unless you can cite for me a specific USPS regulation or circular that states so. Shipping Fees: The buyer pays actual shipping costs; I do not charge fees for packing materials or handling unless otherwise noted in the description. For U.S. shipments, I charge the estimated actual postage. That is, I estimate how much the post office is going to charge me, and that's the amount I charge the buyer. All USPS services, including delivery confirmation and certificates of mailing, are optional. Please note that there's no such thing as tracking for USPS packages except for those that are mailed registered. Buyers who require a service should e-mail me and I will issue a revised invoice.
How I Pack: Most books are packed in boxes with packing peanuts or bubble wrap. Thin volumes and ephemera are mailed in envelopes with stiffeners. Records are mailed in industry-standard cardboard mailers. Postcards are mailed in plastic sleeves and with cardboard protectors. All items are packed to withstand normal abuse from the post office.
How You Should Pay: I accept PayPal only. I don't accept any other forms of payment. I require payment within 4 days unless you've made previous arrangements because of a special circumstance (e.g., you're on a business trip). If I haven't received payment, I automatically file an unpaid item report, followed by a request for a final value fee credit. Refunds: I will issue a full refund for items returned in 30 days. Items must be in the same condition in which they were received. I do not issue partial refunds. Grading:
Click this link for details on How I grade items, including books and records.
Feedback: I will leave feedback on request if you e-mail me after you get your package. Closing Auctions Early: I won't respond to requests to close an auction early to facilitate a private sale. I won't respond to requests to add a Buy It Now option. Items That Don't Sell: I don't respond to offers for items that don't sell. If you missed an item that you're interested in and I still have it, I'll be glad to relist it on request at the same minimum bid. Photocopying Services: I won't respond to requests to photocopy portions of books, brochures, magazines, sheet music, and other printed material. Also, I will not distribute in any way, shape, or form original hand-written manuscripts (such as diaries or genealogical records) or documents. The buyer of the material purchases the right to decide how the information will be used or distributed. Exceptions:In rare instances, I might need to make exceptions to sales terms described here. Such exceptions will be included in the description.
