Jascha Heifetz –
MENDELSSOHN & PROKOFIEFF CONCERTOS –
Rca LSC-2314 – WD 5s/6s -
Recommended by TAS
Great copy of Heifetz performing with Munch and the BSO.
This WD edition features the playing of both the Mendelssohn and Prokofieff, and is in very fine shape: Cover without major fault, just a hint of edge beginning; record inside will play near mint.
Superb performance and sound from the Prokofieff, which is a TAS pick, recognized as one of the finest recordings in the classical genre.
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
