Description
Three record set recorded at the 1981 metal fest “Heavy Metal Holocaust” in England. Bands on the record are Venom, Iron Maiden, Saxon, Black Sabbath, Scorpions, Ozzy Osbourne, and Motorhead.
I am not able to provide an official grading of the vinyl. I don’t see any major flaws, and the records looks like they have been played only a few times. I sampled a few spots on my turntable, and they played fine. However, the record was mastered at low volume, and I had to turn the sound up high. The box is in good shape, though the pasted on back cover art is imperfect, especially at the bottom. See photos.
The small piece of paper pasted over the word HEAVY on the front cover states that there were 500 of these records made. It also says it is from 1980, which is impossible, since the event at which the recording was made took place in 1981.
