Description
In 1977, Heart had recorded music for the next album. Mushroom Records was in the process of renewing the contract with Heart, but decided to release the album before the contract was completed. When they did, they had the following printed on the bottom of the album cover..."Mushroom Records regrets that a contractual dispute has made it necessary to complete this record without the cooperation or endorsement of the group Heart, who have expressly disclaimed artistic involvement in completing this record. We did not feel that a contractual dispute should prevent the public from hearing and enjoying these incredible tunes and recordings."
As the record hit the streets, Heart was able to get a restraining order, and have all the unsold copies removed from stores. The record was only on the shelves for a few hours at most. A Short time later, the dispute was settle, and the record was released without the disclaimer being on the back cover.
