Please consider the Following 7" Acetate Demo 45 RPM Record for sale:

Benny Joy Edison
   one side = Steady With Betty - eventually released on Dixie Records # 2001
other side = High School baby (no Hey on Label) - eventually released on Tri Dec Records # 8667

 on an audiodisc acetate disc.


Both sides posted in audio player above.  Turn volume up on player as the it is set to low by default and historically acetates have poor and low sound quality.  This record was pulled from an estate out of Tampa, Florida in the early 1990s.

What is so unique about these songs are they seem very primitive before song was perfected and please note the vocal backing on both tracks in which I personally have not heard on any comps anywhere.  I believe this has never been released.


This is a 55+ year old acetate, possibly only 1 ever.  Please expect associated noise and terrible sound quality typical of acetates.  Record has marks and scratches but plays well considering and of course with low sound quality.
