(Hear) 1968 Racket Squad Psych M- 45 (Suburban Life b/w The Loser)
Racket Squad – “Suburban Life” b/w “The Loser” (Jubilee 5638). Scarce end of 1968 release by this Pittsburgh area based group led by songwriter Sonny DiNunzio. The group also recorded as the Fenways and wer popular in the western Pennsylvania area. As the Racket Squad they did psychedelic with just a hint of sunshine pop and issued two LPs and 9 singles. This single features a good hard psych cut and the flip is a re-release of their earlier re-make of the Skyliners song. Take a listen to a little of each. Record is in M- condition.
