Recorded during the band’s legendary 1972 concerts, this sprawling double album transforms a rock performance into a full-scale science-fiction experience: hypnotic rhythms, roaring guitars, electronic effects, spoken-word passages and the unmistakable presence of the classic Lemmy-era line-up.

For ordinary listeners, the attraction is equally strong. Tracks including Born to Go, Space Is Deep, Orgone Accumulator, Brainstorm and Master of the Universe remain powerful, immersive and extraordinarily atmospheric. This is not simply a concert album — it is a complete voyage.

Condition Report

Both records retain a strong glossy appearance. Numerous fine hairlines and micro-marks can be seen when the vinyl is tilted beneath bright directional light, but many are considerably less noticeable under normal viewing conditions.

The complete set has been played on the seller’s equipment and performed excellently, with clean, powerful and detailed sound. Any background noise is generally brief and most likely to be noticed between tracks or during quieter passages.

No skipping was experienced on the seller’s turntable. Occasional light clicks may be heard, but they do not dominate the music. Please remember that playback can vary depending on cartridge, stylus, tracking force and audio equipment.

The spectacular multi-panel sleeve remains complete and presents well, with vivid psychedelic artwork and an impressive display when fully opened.

As clearly shown in the photographs, there is visible age-related storage wear, including rubbing, edge and corner wear, spine wear, small creases, surface marks and areas of print loss along the extremities.

The fold-out construction remains usable and the artwork still has strong visual impact. The sleeve is not perfect, but it possesses the authentic character expected from a well-preserved vintage rock artefact of this age.

Carefully Preserved for Its Next Collection

Every record is treated with respect, regardless of age or cosmetic condition. All surviving original components are retained with the album. For additional protection, the vinyl records will be supplied in fresh protective inner sleeves, while the complete fold-out album will receive a new clear outer protective sleeve. Original sleeves and inserts, where present, remain included and preserved.

Professional Packaging & Dispatch

The records will be removed from the main sleeve for transit whenever appropriate, helping to reduce the risk of seam splits.

The set will be protected using a strong purpose-made vinyl mailer with suitable stiffening and cushioning materials.

Particular care will be taken with the unusually large fold-out sleeve so that this historic package reaches its next owner as safely as possible.

Vinyl grading is based on careful visual inspection together with the seller’s playback experience where stated. Vintage records may retain minor signs of previous ownership even when they perform extremely well.

We prefer clear, detailed descriptions rather than hiding imperfections behind a simple grade. Please consider the written condition report, photographs and your own equipment sensitivity when making your decision.
