Description
On offer here is a copy of In Search Of Space by Hawkwind, released on the United Artists label in 1971, catalogue number UAG 29202.
The fold out sleeve designed by Barney Bubbles and Printed and Made by the E J Day Group, London and Bedford is in Excellent condition, and arguably better, with all edges sharp and no damage to the locking tab on the front.
The spine is square and undamaged and there is no ring wear.
One point to note, there is a small piece of black tape on the bottom left fold, which is very hard to spot and does not look like a repair, certainly the inside is perfect (please see photo)
The Log Book is in unmarked and undamaged condition, fully stapled with no wear (or rust as is sometimes seen) around them, graded Excellent Plus.
The vinyl looks terrific, it has a glossy shine to both sides with no marks or other damage.
I have played this album all the way through on my system (J A Michell Gyrodek, SME Series IV arm, Dynavector Coil cartridge, Naim Pre and Twin Mono Power Amps and B&W Nautilus speakers) and it is exceptional, with no noise clicks or pops, and great audio. Rated Excellent Plus!
One point to note, the label states that it is manufactured in Portugal, but this is a standard Brown and Cream UK label, so I don't know if this was outsourced to be made there due to pressing and volume issues or was it made in the UK for Export, someone may know!
The record will be sent outside of it's sleeve in a polythene cover sandwiched between two 12" cardboard stiffeners in a heavy duty record mailing envelope, made by Covers 33 and used by mail order Record Companies.
The record will be sent within 3 days of receiving payment, by PayPal only please and this is ONLY open to UK bidders, thanks.
Generous postage discounts will be given for multiple purchases, please see my other similar listings thanks.
