Description
I am selling part of my vinyl collection which has been accumulated over the years. I am not a dealer but have realised that if I pass these records on they will not be appreciated for what they are.
So on offer here is a fantastic very first pressing copy of In Search Of Space by Hawkwind ,released on the United Artists Records label in 1971, catalogue number UAG 29202, complete with the Log Book
I have played this album all the way through on my system ( Michell Gyrodec SME Arm, Naim pre / power amps and B & W Nautilus speakers) at high volume
I cleaned the record on my Okki Nokki Record Cleaning Machine prior to playing
The record sits flat on the turntable ( both sides)
Apart from one pop in the middle of You Know You’re Only Dreaming there we’re no clicks tics jumps or surface noise. Graded Near Mint in my opinion
The matrix numbers are :
Side One UAG 29202 A - 1U
Side Two UAG 29202 B - 1U
The cream labels are totally clean with no marks or imperfections
The Barney Bubbles designed fold out sleeve is in almost as made condition , the edges and spine are clean and sharp and the fold in tab is in wonderful shape usually this is worn and torn, not this copy.
I can confidently grade as Near Mint condition
The log book is in Near Mint condition with no rips tears creases or writing, the staples in the middle are as new and not worn or rusted in any way
Please note I use the Record Collector grading system
It will be sent in a professional record mailer used by record shops with two stiffeners.
