The Tribe Presents Wendell Harrison and Phillip Ranelin - Message from the Tribe
Extremely rare original pressing Detroit spiritual jazz record on the Tribe label from 1973. Record condition is a little rough, thus the low starting bid for this very rare record. This is not a hard core collectors copy but is a decent play copy or placeholder until you find a better one. Cover is pretty nice. Players include: Marcus Belgrave, Charles Moore, Will Austin, Charles Eubanks, Ike Daney, Wendell Harrison, Phillip Ranelin, and Jaemel Lee on vocals.
NOTE: Side 1 contains a different take of Evening with the Devil (Suite in 3 movements) than the music found on Wendell Harrison's Evening with the Devil full length LP.
Label: Tribe AR2506
Record: VG- (Plays through fine without skipping. Obviously has been played quite a bit. Several medium marks. Fair amount of surface noise, pops and clicks.)
Cover: VG+ (Some discoloration along front right edge. Minor wear on a couple of corners.)
Conservative grading. Check my feedback. Full refund within 7 days if item is not as described.
Record will be carefully packed in a new box with plenty of padding. Buyer to pay actual shipping costs. Will combine shipping for multiple records. Shipping insurance optional but highly recommended.
