Description
A very rare, one of a kind promo only Hank Williams retrospective/interview 3x LP boxset including the original, signed release forms for 14 of the featured interviewees. Included is a signed letter from Carroll Albury, A & R Secretary at MGM to Carol Minden, Contract Administrator stating..."enclosed are the original agreements, individually signed, consenting to our use of the taped interviews...". Also included is a a list of interviewees with their respective recording contracts. The signed agreements included are:
George Morgan (Four Star Records) Little Jimmy Dickens Roy Acuff Minnie Pearl Lefty Frizzell Bill Monroe Pee Wee King Ernest Tubb Wesley Rose Mike Hanes (WKDA) Grant Turner (WSM Radio) Audrey Williams Bill Williams (Billboard Magazine) Faron Young All agreements have also been signed by the director of Nashville operations for MGM Records at the time, Dick Glasser. All agreements are in very good condition, light spots of discoloration but no tears or damages to any. Box is in VG condition, corners have minor repairs. Vinyl looks unplayed.
