Description
This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Hank Mobley “Roll Call” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 4058. The playing surface is in excellent condition, with inaudible splotches that are typical of records that have been stored for a long time in the original inner sleeves; four inaudible handling marks at the beginning of Side 2; perhaps played once or twice. The laminated cover is in extraordinary condition – bright and clean throughout – with sharp corners and perfect seams. The back slick is stamped “Property of WRVR” (the premier jazz station in New York City that now, sadly, no longer exists.) Illustrated inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Freddie Hubbard, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, and Art Blakey. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. Please do not bid unless you are comfortable providing credit card information directly.
