Prestige LP 7082 Hi Fi
HANK MOBLEY "Mobley's 2nd Message" LP IS A 1957 PRESSING ON THE NYC PRESTIGE LABEL 7082. There is an RVG Stamp in the area of dead wax near the spindle. The Spindle Hole is Fine. The album has a few slight, light marks, but I've played this album 3 times and haven't noticed anything related to the marks. What a nice recording, though I would recommend it be run thru a professional cleaner to remove accumulated dust. Obviously it's been played, but cared for in doing so. The cover has rubs and corner damage and a slice in the bottom. The face still is glossy. Look at the pictures for the details. Hopefully I took enough to give you an idea of the condition. I would find it hard to see you being unhappy with the quality of the album. One side of the vinyl is stamped JAZZ as seen in the picture along with the back side of the cover. No "real sleeve" only a piece of clear plastic. Labels are strong and clean. Players include: Kenny Dorham, Walter Bishop, Doug Watkins, and Art Taylor.

Revision 4-13: I have had numerous questions concerning the "noise" in the album because of the marks or rubs I mentioned in the ad. I have since listened to the album three more times. During the quiet passages of the album on side one at the begining, or before the first song starts and between the first and second song I heard a few "ticks" not pops or cracks, just ticks. I hope this helps!
